Get involved

Fancy getting involved in a unique project which is trying to change the way people look at mental health? We are always looking for people to get involved in Unwind Your Mind.

What can I do?

We want to hear YOUR Unwind Your Mind Tips

We want to create a database of tips for young people, so they always have a list of things to do to help them unwind their mind. But to do this we need your help. It’s simple, just tell us what makes you feel good. We want your film, book, or music recommendations. Links to websites, Youtube videos or pictures that make you laugh.

Been there done that!

Tell us your experience of going through a crappy time. How did you deal with it? What helped, what didn’t? What advice can you give to someone else going through a similar thing.

Join our Facebook Cause “We can’t lose any more young people to suicide’

It only take a few minutes, but will help us really make a difference. Suicide is the biggest killer of young men in Ireland  (even more than road-deaths) and the sad thing is that it can be prevented. Almost 8,000 people have already joined up and are raising awareness about a serious issue which is rarely talked about openly. Once you have joined, make sure to invite all your friends. www.causes.com/donegalyouthmentalhealth

Join our Facebook Page

We think our Facebook page deals with mental health in a pretty cool way. There’s no talk about scary things like mental illness- instead it focuses on the positive things that make you feel good.  We want to get us many fans as possible, but to do this we need your help. Help us out by suggesting the page to all your friends. Unwind your mind

  1. Hi Marie

We are organising a seminar around Mental Health and Cross-border Social Inclusion in Sligo on Friday 10th December. Can you email me your contact details so i can forward further info and perhaps advertise it on your sites?

    Cheers

  3. Hi Marie,

Wonderful site! I am sorry it took me so long to find it. I would love to look at ways the young people in the LOFT could become aware of this project and learn from the information you’ve pulled together. Are you in donegal or dublin these days? Maybe we could meet to talk about possible projects.

    Hope you are well,

    Orla
